Saffier Yachts is very proud to announce a new model. The Saffier Se 24 Lite will be the latest model in the range of elegance daysailers. The worldpremiere of this new model will be at BOOT Düsseldorf starting on 21st of January 2023.

A sailing yacht which is in full content with the environment of today. An electric propulsion system which is charged 24/7 by the integrated solar panels. A sailing yacht which can be rigged up or down in a blink of an eye. Easily transportable and can be launched off a trailer or hoisted out of the water by a single hoist lifting point.

Orion Enksail 49

In Makkum, hard work is being done on the construction of the Orion Enksail 49. The cockpit and superstructure are largely ready and hard work is being done on the hull, which is already assembled in large parts. The Canadian client made a nice reproduction of the preliminary phase. Look at the Youtube film.

 

  

TEN2-assembly

In Dalian / China, hard work is underway on the TEN2. Due to large orders for the other DC types, the development of the building moulds was halted for some time, but now all moulds for the interior parts are ready and the first interior parts have also been produced. Hull, bulkheads and interior parts are assembled and now the technical part begins, such as the electrics, engine installation, fuel tank, and the water ballast system. Because China is still closed due to Covid, we also have to check the building process with only the photos, but these photos look promising.

  

Orion Enksail 49

The construction of the Orion Enksail 49 has started at ‘De Gebroeders van Enkhuizen’. The customers are well-known Canadian vloggers and you can follow the latest developments in design choices, hardware choices, construction, etc. on their facebook page. Because we had so many small adjustments in terms of interior, installation and the keel, we developed a completely new cutting package.

Big order for Chinese boatyard

In Dalian (China), the Dalian Changmei Pleasure Boat company is building 50 DC29’s and several TEN2’s for a Hong Kong customer. The first 10 boats must be delivered before 2022. We designed the DC29 (design number 177) in 2019 in a touring and racing version. The TEN2 (design number 182) is a new design, where the molds are currently being finalized. The yard from Dalian already built the last 12 years several of our designs, such as the TEN, the DC22, the DC12, the DC15 and the DC20.

Saffier Se33 Life nominated for ‘European Boat of the year 2022’

After the Saffier Se37 and the Saffier Se27, this year the Saffier Se33 Life has been nominated for European boat of the year 2022. Last week, journalists from renowned sailing magazines announced the nominations. The shipyard in IJmuiden is working hard to make the prototype of the brand new Saffier Se33 Life ready to sail. In October 2021, the Saffier Se33 Life will participate in the seatrial event in Barcelona and the judges will test all the nominated yachts. The winners of the ‘European Boat of the Year Awards’ will be announced at BOOT Düsseldorf in January 2022. The design of this yacht was also created by Satellite Yacht Design and the Hennevanger brothers.

Koopmans Kasko’s starts building of the Sine Metu 41

In August 2021, the preparations for the construction of the Sine Metu 41 started at Koopmans Kasko’s in Sneek. The pre-cutted aluminium plates of this multi-chine sailing yacht arrived in the first week of September and the aluminium yacht will be assembled in the coming months. The Sine Metu 41 will have a retractable keel, twin rudders and an electric drive.

Dusseldorf Boatshow 2020 / Saffier Se27 leisure

From Januari 18th till Januari 26th, the new Saffier Se27 Leisure will be showed on the Dusseldorf Boatshow. Saffier Yachts is on another location and will be this year in Hall17, stand nr. C21. Also the Saffier Se37 will be in Dusseldorf in nice metallic gray colors.

In 2019, the Yachting Festival will bring together all sailing boats, monohulls and multihulls in a single dedicated and fitted port. With more than 100 sailing boats in Port Canto, the Yachting Festival will be the world’s largest in-water exhibition of large sailing boats, offering the best experience for sailing enthusiasts and buyers.
