December 27th 2007: Ten

Mid-December, the management of ‘Expect Sailing’ signed a contract in China for the serial production of the ‘Ten’ (design no. 147). The yacht will be built in a composite sandwich⁄epoxy construction and will be delivered with a carbon mast including PBO rigging.

December 10th 2007: Charlotte

The hull of the Charlotte 41 will be build at the moment by Adrie Pijnen Jachtbouw. The building kit of the Icon 48 is finished and the building by “K & M Yachtbuilders” will start in Januari 2008.

October 12th 2007

The sales of the ‘Crest Yachts’ is taken over by Kolibri Jachtbouw. This yard allready had some wooden building kits of the famous Kolibri yachts.

September 6th 2007

Project 149 is a 60 feet aluminium yacht and will be built by “K & M Yachtbuilders” in Makkum. The design will be finished and the building will start in August 2008.

June 22th 2007: Charlotte

The preliminary design of the Charlotte 41 (design no.148) is finished. The Charlotte 41 is a traditional sailing yacht but will be built in high tech composites. The Charlotte 41 is the smaller sister of the Charlotte 45 (design no. 110). The building will start in October by ‘Adrie Pijnen Jachtbouw’.

June 22th 2007: Falcon

The Falcon 44 (design no.139) is launched on July 21st. The yacht is built in composite and has a retractable keel. The building started in October 2004 and the whole project is done by an ‘amateur’ builder. The result is a professionally built yacht with traditional lines and up-to-date sailing characteristics. The Falcon 44 will make her first sailing trips in August.

March 24th 2007: Beluga

The Beluga 40 ‘Rebbons’ (design no. 137) is launched on March 24th. The ‘Rebbons’ is built by Schaap Shipcare in Lelystad. The result is a beautiful built yacht and an excellent example for custom building. The retractable keel and the adjusted interior make the ‘Rebbons’ a unique yacht.

March 23th 2007: Icon

The Icon 48 (design no. 143) will be built by “K & M Yachtbuilders” in Makkum. The yacht was originally designed in composite, but re-constructed in Sealium. Sealium is a marine grade aluminium alloy, created and registered by Alcan Marine and has a 15 percent higher welded yield strength than standard alloys. The yard will start at the end of 2007.

Januari 30th 2007

Project 147 is after project 142 and 144 the third sportboat in line.

Januari 15th 2007

Project 144 is started in Januari 2007 at ‘Adrie Pijnen Jachtbouw’.
